AM Line Cooks Needed: General Hot Line
Screen Door is one of Portland's most beloved restaurants, and is a locally owned and operated business. Our Pearl location is hiring experienced line cooks to work the hot line. You will need 5 years plus in a professional kitchen to have the minimum skills needed for our level of business. We do train, but applicants will need to have already achieved a high proficiency level in their career already.

AM SHIFTS ARE GENERALLY 6:30am-3:30pm. Please do not apply if those times conflict with other obligations. You must be able to work both Saturdays and Sundays.

Starting pay will depend on the experience you already have and what job we are hiring you to do.
For cooks with a high level of expertise, experience, fine-dining background, high volume background, can work quick and clean and not require a long training curve, we can offer between $21 starting base wage plus tips. Tips average $4-$7 per hour.
All cooks receive tips, year-round for every hour worked.
